David Amborski is a Professor at Toronto Metropolitan University’s School of Urban and Regional Planning and the founding Director of the Centre for Urban Research and Land Development (CUR).
His research and consulting work explores topics where urban planning interfaces with economics including land and housing markets.
He was a member of the Province’s Affordable Housing Task Force and he has been appointed as a member of the Greenbelt Council.
The Municipal Property Assessment Corporation (MPAC) has appointed him to their Planning Services Advisory Committee. As an advisor, he has been on several committees in Toronto, including the Inclusionary Housing Working Group; and Metrolinx, Real Estate Committee, and the Project Evaluation Advisory Panel.
He is also a member of the Toronto Mayor’s Covid Economic Recovery Panel.
