Dr. Myra Fernandes is a Professor in Cognitive Neuroscience in the Psychology Department and is adjunct in the Research Institute of Aging, at the University of Waterloo. She holds a BSc degree from University of Waterloo, as well as Masters and PhD from University of Toronto. Her research program examines the cognitive processes, and brain regions, involved in memory and language. She is particularly interested in how these change as people age.
