Dr. Paul Thagard

Paul Thagard is Distinguished Professor Emeritus of Philosophy at the University of Waterloo, where he founded the Cognitive Science Program. He has published many papers and books, including The Cognitive Science of Science (MIT Press, 2012) and The Brain and the meaning of Life (Princeton University Press, 2010). He is now working on a 3-book Treatise on Mind and Society to be published by Oxford University Press. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada, the Cognitive Science Society, and the Association for Psychological Science.
