John Geoghegan
Associate Curator, Collections and Research, McMichael Canadian Art Collection
JOHN GEOGHEGAN is Associate Curator, Collections and Research, at the McMichael Canadian Art Collection. He earned an MA in art history from York University in 2022, where his major research paper focused on the life and work of Lilias Torrance Newton. He is the former senior editor of the Inuit Quarterly, where he worked from 2016 to 2020. Geoghegan has contributed to publications for the McMichael and the Justina M. Barnicke Gallery at the University of Toronto, among others. He is interested in uncovering lost or forgotten stories in Canadian art history.
