Mike DeGagné

Mike DeGagné, PhD, is President of Indspire, a national Indigenous charity which awards Indigenous excellence and provides support for Indigenous post-secondary students. He has previously led Nipissing University in North Bay, Ontario, and the Aboriginal Healing Foundation. He is a professor of Education and Chair of the Federation of the Humanities and Social Sciences. His research interests are in the areas of Indigenous reconciliation and governance, and he is a frequent lecturer on these issues to corporate and academic audiences. He is a member of Northwest Angle 37 First Nation in northwestern Ontario.
