In an era of distrust, polarization, democratic decline, and toxic backlash politics, making good political decisions is increasingly difficult — especially when our own brains end up working against us. However, it’s essential that we find ways to navigate the moment and make more rational, autonomous, and productive choices.

And as tough as things may be, it’s possible to do better.

Making good political decisions, however, takes focus and work. It requires commitment, a plan and practice. In this presentation, I’ll discuss the factors that shape our political decision-making (for better or for worse), and explain what it takes to make the best decisions possible as individuals and collectively.
